It’s been tough getting the farm up and running since we started so late due to researching to be as green and organic as possible. Finally the soil has been prepared, and we have just recently planted some squash and bean seeds. We are already starting to see some growth, and everything should be ready for harvesting come early fall.

James Fox, one of the judges from our Urban Art Competition, will be starting the formal muraling classes on July 15th and will be running Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 10 am to 2 pm. These workshops will be held at the First Parish Church in Malden. We are looking for artists to participate in this mural project especially ones from the urban art competition. We know you’re interested, and we’ll be in contact with you shortly. If anyone else would like to join in, please feel free to contact us.
We also have found a volunteer artist/curator who is willing to create our Urban Art Exhibit. Once again, we cannot thank the participants enough for coming out to the competition and sharing your talents with us. Your works will be on display in a gallery at the First Parish Church for at least two months.
